Research direction: Advanced Photo-thermal Energy Technology, Low-carbon Intelligent Building Materials, Smart Analysis of Sustainable Urban Environments.
Research Focus: He leads the research direction of advanced building energy technologies within Professor Cao's Sustainable Built Environment team. He focuses on utilizing intelligent new technologies and materials, driving the widespread application of green low-carbon technologies in the built environment, from the micro-scale of individual buildings to the macro-scale of urban areas. In recent years, he has published over ten papers as the first author in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, Advanced Materials (back cover article), Advanced Functional Materials (cover article), Advanced Science (cover article), Nano Energy, and Applied Energy, covering topics like novel spectral regulation smart envelopes, zero-energy cooling technology, and building-urban environment assessments. His research achievements have won multiple international awards, including the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition, the Gold Medal at the China International "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Gold Medal at the Canada International Invention and Innovation Competition.
Admission Information: He is currently recruiting PhD and Master's students, postdoctoral researchers, and research assistants in cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields, including advanced photothermal regulation technologies, novel building materials, intelligent building energy systems, and big data-driven urban environmental analysis. Students with backgrounds in building environment and energy, civil engineering, architecture, energy and power engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, optics, computer science, or environmental engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
